Please read the terms and conditions before making any payments.

Michelle Stephens of Watercolours and Moor retains the full copyright of all of the artwork produced, including prints which may be used for promotional purposes to display in her portfolio or images which may be used on her website and social media pages. Progress updates will also be posted on social media pages unless otherwise requested if it is a secret commission for example.

No artwork can be reproduced without permission.

REFERENCE PHOTOGRAPHS

It is the clients responsibility to insure that they have the relevant copy rights to all reference photographs or permission to use them if they are not your own.

Clear, quality reference photographs are essential to create detailed, realistic portraits so please chose carefully and let me know if you would like some help.

Your quote will be valid for 30 days from the date of issue as prices may be subject to change.

DEPOSIT

A £50 deposit is required to book a slot and reserve a place on Michelles waiting list. Deposits are non-refundable but in the rare case that Michelle has to cancel your order a full refund of your deposit will be made.

TIME FRAME

You will be given an estimated start date once you have selected a size, submitted your reference photos and the deposit has been made.

PORTRAIT AMENDMENTS

The client will be sent a digital copy of the drawing layout to approve before painting begins so that any alterations can be made on request.

Once paint has been lightly added and the portrait starts to take shape, a further watermarked digital update will be sent and again, any minor alterations can be made. Please note that watercolour is a difficult medium and adjustment may be limited.

On completion, a final watermarked digital copy will be sent to the client to approve and once approval has been given, no further adjustments will be made.

If the portrait is not approved by the client no further payments will be required and the portrait will remain the property of the artist.

PAYMENT

Once the portrait has been approved an invoice will be sent and the outstanding balance must be paid. I accept bank transfer or PayPal.

Failure to make the final payment will result in the portrait remaining the property of the artist.

SHIPPING

Portraits are mounted, backed and carefully wrapped in an acid free wallet, which is bubble wrapped and packed in cardboard. Uk Orders are shipped via Royal Mail next day delivery with tracking information provided.

Please provide your address when you reserve your slot.

The artist will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties.

CUSTOM PORTRAIT GIFT VOUCHERS

A gift voucher entitles the recipient to a specified amount towards, or for an unframed, commissioned watercolour portrait of their pet.

The recipient has the option to add to the value of their gift voucher to upgrade the size of their portrait but it cannot be downgraded to a smaller size.

To redeem a gift voucher the recipient must contact Michelle Stephens with their unique certificate code and provide suitable reference photos of their pet.

They will then be given an estimated time slot and booked onto my client waiting list.

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months and must be redeemed before the expiry date which can be found on each voucher.
